Measure the laptop before you read anything else on this page. A 15.6 inch machine is about 14.1 inches along the long edge with the lid closed, and this sleeve is cut for it; a 16 or 17 inch laptop will not go in however soft the sides feel. The pocket beside the sleeve is open rather than zipped and sized for a takeaway cup, which is the detail people notice on the second day rather than the first.
One thing this bag is not: a checkpoint-friendly case.
